Are you new to the gym or still feeling nervous there? I want to make things easier and more comfortable for you!
10 things I wish I had know when I started going to the gym.
you don’t need to be fit or well-versed in all gym equipment to get started no one cares if you’re lifting 2kg or 52kg, no need to go for heavy stuff before you’re ready it’s ok to ask how many sets people have on the machine you want to use don’t walk close to people who are lifting heavy staff on a bench - they can drop those heavy dumbbells plus it’s distracting it's not about doing a different workout each day to get sore, but about repeating the same movements for a few weeks to see the real resultsyou can move the equipment around the gym as long as you bring it backpeople are nicer than I expected and happy to help and if anyone is rude it’s not because I don’t belong there but because they’re a$$holes - gym, or no gym sweating is not an indication of how hard you’re workingmuscle soreness does not indicate how hard you worked either. it gets easier, the more you go the more at home you feel, and the more comfortable you are in the gym and with the exercises.
