Language matters. Say something that allows them to have confidence in themselves. Decrease the screen time so you can be fully present. Clean up the mess you make when you fall short. Show your kids that it's okay to apologize. Celebrate their great behavior, celebrate their victories. Ask yourself: *Do you celebrate your kids' victories? *Do you reward them? Do you shower them with praise and compliment and acknowledgment? Behavior that is rewarded and celebrated gets repeated.
