First, an Australian couple in Texas, manufacturing suppressors under Texas State law, are assaulted by the ATF, their business and home searched, and M-4's pointed at them and their 7-year-old son. After two years, they still haven't been charged with any crime, but the ATF continues to hold them in legal limbo, even illegally confiscating their passports so they cannot return to Australia.

Second, in a move that's certain to create some interesting ripples throughout the NFA legal community, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans has ruled that suppressors are not firearms, that they're not even considered weapons, and thus are not covered by the Second Amendment....which casts suppressors and all cases being brought against citizens for "illegally" making/owning them into a legal quandary. 

This ruling is going to create some interesting legal "Catch-22's", without a doubt!
