Alexandra Carstea is a recognised advocate for medical cannabis in Romania. She has worked tirelessly to expand patient access in Romania due to her reply personal connection to the issue. Her mother, Victoria used cannabis to treat her terminal illness prior to passing away a few years ago.

Alexandra initiated a national petition that became a bill in the Romanian Parliament and has continued to honour her mother’s memory by continuing advocacy by bringing information to all relevant stakeholders.
