We've all had the experience of thinking you're going to get so much done today anddddd then your kid gets sick and your whole day gets turned upside down. Or... you plan a vacation and expect to be able to lay by the pool, take long walks, sleep in and... it doesn't end up that way.
This week's episode is all about your expectations - which, especially as mothers - are often a recipe for disappointment and resentment.
You’ll hear why I don’t set expectations (or try not to! Sometimes I need my own reminder!) and what I do instead to ensure I get the most out of vacations, weekends and literally every day while being a working mom.

1. What do I want today/this weekend/this vacation to be about?
2. What FEELING or VIBE do I want to orient towards? Do I want to orient towards rest? fun? family connection?
Then, continue to ask yourself:
3. What is just true for me right now?
4. How do I want to/need to respond to myself based on what's true?
