Circuit Parties have been a part of gay culture for as long as anyone can remember, but in a mid-pandemic world where proximity and interaction can lead to illness or death, where does the line get drawn between civil liberties and social responsibilities? Unfolding over the last few months has been a "civil war" within the queer community, often between rich muscled white boys and the rest of the community.

Most recently, a Circuit Party in Mexico came under fire as a potential COVID Super-Spreader event, but also as backlash from community members saw an all-out social media fight between a new instagram account, @GaysOverCOVID, which began outing attendees to the party, and party goers. As a response, the party goers are offering a cash reward to track down the operator of the instagram account.

Journalist and Communications Expert Zack Ford added to the online commentary via Twitter where his thread quickly went viral and started to unearth some of the issues surround circuit parties, privilege, race, and sexuality. Zack joined us on this episode to discuss everything that's been going on.
