On 24th November 2015 Michelle decided to open the package that was wrapped in plastic and stuffed under a wooden planter on the shared patio at her flat complex.

Michelle had been told about the package, which had been put there by her neighbour who had died the previous month.  The neighbour had asked as a dying wish, for this to be put back in the loft, the old medical manekin they had in their posession.

Michelle actually wanted to prank a friend first before carrying out her neighbours wishes, so roped in her other friend Rhian to help.

Michelle and Rhian set to work with ordinary kitchen knives, cutting through 41 layers of plastic wrapping, layers of tin foil, old bags and even roofing material.

The smell that came from the package as the layers of plastic were cut through was the first clue something wasn’t right, then Michelle started to scream.

No, it wasn’t a mannikin.
