Keeda (The Worm) written more than 34 years ago is perhaps more relevant today than it was then. It is the story of a man ridden with stereotypes and false sense of nationalism.

Raghubir Dhand ( 1 November 1934 - 27 December -1990) holds a unique place in Punjabi literature written by diasporic writers. He was born in Sangrur (Punjab) and lived most of his life in England. His short stories are written around the themes of alienation in human relationships, nostalgia and identity. Though he was inspired by authors like Rajinder Singh Bedi, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, and Kamleshwar but he had his own unique storytelling style.
