Hello, potatoes! October 3rd was apparently a really big day on the Internet, where we celebrated National Boyfriend Day and the day referenced in Mean Girls when Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was and she said, "It's October 3rd." Needless to say, my Instagram feed blew up with posts about those two events, and I basically talk about why the whole celebrate-your-boyfriend-even-though-you-are-not-really-celebrating-him bothers me; there is nothing wrong with posting your boo, but just make sure it comes off as genuine and not something purely done to shove it in people's faces. Then I started transitioning into a general opinionated review of the movie Mean Girls. Honestly all you need to know is that I would so date Regina George/Rachel McAdams and I am still trying to find my Janis Ian/Lizzy Caplan in the near future.  (I would so be down in doing a full rundown of Mean Girls in the future. This was more of a general debrief.)
