There's a phenomenon where we crave foods based on past/childhood experiences. It's embedded in our mental code. We call these "nostalgic eating habits".

They're the moments when you desire foods based on nostalgic experiences… such as your family’s food rituals or the tradition of getting hotdogs at every major league baseball game. The problem – nostalgia can be consistently triggered.

The question? Is it worth giving in to? Will the actual experience live up to the remembrance of it? And how does it affect your daily eating habits moving forward?
