Dream Cycle is a podcast build through designing an audio soundscape that dynamically and fluently flowed between the realms of darkness (using deep tones) and light (contrasted with higher frequencies). The story of the podcast revolves around a curious-minded child, Benton, who we follow into a dream as he
uncovers the truths of his subconscious and the unimaginable depths of his psyche. This episode entitled ‘Somniac’ is part of a wider series of fiction podcasts called The Dream Cycle.

My name is David Lim (legally) but with Macquarie Uni I’m still known as David Ghobrial. I am a current Bachelor of Music student at MQ and am engrossed in the world of modular synthesis and digital music production.
