Just south of Mexico City, between the canals of Xochimilco, there lies a small island. This island was never meant to be a tourist destination, but its dark and mysterious past has led to it becoming a hotbed for paranormal investigators, thrill seekers, and fans of all things spooky. You may be asking yourself, “What makes this place so scary?”, and in response, I’ll let the dolls strung up across the island tell you for themselves. For, you see, this island has since been named La Isla de las Muñecas, which, when translated, reads The Island of the Dolls.
