At many times in our lives we're faced with a choice: Instant gratification or long-term satisfaction?

We often attach the word "hero" to people in certain professions - healthcare employees, frontline workers, first responders. But we don't always recognize the everyday, unsung heroes in lives - or our ultimate hero, Jesus Christ.

We've all heard this sentiment from a friend or family member at some point. But church is more than a dated tradition, and it shouldn't be thought of as an obligation. Get excited about joining or rejoining a congregation. Get involved. You've heard that there's strength in numbers, so let your presence strengthen Christ's kingdom.

Are you turning back to God or are you turning your back to God? Sometimes we must sacrifice things we think we love - things that ultimately lead to our destruction - in order to honor God's will for our lives.

Sure, it seems like everyone is offended by everything these days. WWJD? He'd offer forgiveness. He invites, encourages, and even demands forgiveness.

God broke the mold for every one us. He knew what He was doing when he made us who we are. None of us are like the other - we've all got unique gifts that contribute to His kingdom. So never compare yourself - be proud of how God made you you!

Don't just say it. Really mean it. And do it intentionally. LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Rejoice and be glad, because your being reconciled into a right relationship with God is not based on your goodness - it's based on God's grace.
