Toddler quiet time -- have your little ones tried to give up their naps!?!?! This can be so hard for them and for us… haha. For our oldest - we have transitioned into quiet times. He is in his room with quiet activities to do such as coloring - and then he sometimes ends up happening as well! The down time is a blessing to him and me!

Do you dream big WITH your spouse? Do you take time to talk about the life you envision for your family?!?! Do you have goals that you are working towards? Putting our dreams into words can sometimes be hard because it means we now have something that we will either accomplish or not… but we must have something bigger to look towards and be running to! Our family desires to love God, love people and serve others first…. But that needs to be fleshed out into tangible dreams and goals… and then action steps need to be made so that we will continue to move forward! It doesn't mean our lives will look exactly how we think… but as long as we are pressing into Jesus and moving forward… we will be okay!

It’s the little things, like starbucks after church for a cake pop! When we recently did this, Owen exclaimed, “This is the greatest day ever, Dad!”. We must remember that time spent and little things can mean the most to our kids!

We love our new weekend tradition! Living room picnic dinner + movie! It is so fun to be at a point where our boys can enjoy something like this and they truly look forward to it!

What are some of your favorite things to do when you get time together!?!? We love movies, coffee, and going to Target!. We also love going to Universal Studios… but that isn’t going to work for a date day… at least not in this season… haha. Take some time to think about what you enjoy doing together - big or small… and then set some time to do those things together! Time spent is so valuable in your marriage!

Are you traveling this summer?!?! We are sharing a few of our favorite things for family road trips! Pack food! Have snacks available and pack at least one of the main meals to keep things moving! We like to search for Starbucks and Targets on the way… it’s true! The boys love those places… the dollar spot makes then happy, and starbucks makes us happy:) haha.
