Our call got cut off this morning ~ if you were listening live and suddenly lost us, we’re sorry!
But we didn’t want the conversation to get lost, because today’s message was an important one:
When Business Feels Personal
Real estate is personal. Your name is on the sign. Your relationships create your business. Your income supports your life and your family.
So when buyers go quiet, listings take longer, or the numbers aren’t where you hoped they’d be, of course you feel it.
That doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you care.
This morning, we talked about three simple ways to keep a difficult season from becoming a story about your worth:
1. Name what you’re actually feeling.
Fear, discouragement, frustration, uncertainty saying it out loud can make it more manageable.
2. Separate the facts from the story.
A slow listing is a fact. “I’m not a good agent” is the story your mind may attach to it. They are not the same thing.
3. Choose 3–5 manageable actions.
You don’t have to fix your entire business today. Make a call. Follow up. Check in. Ask for help. Just choose the next right actions.
A hard season does not erase your experience, your ability, or the relationships you’ve built.
You don’t have to come back all at once.
You just have to begin again.
Thanks for being with us this morning and again, sorry we got cut off! We’ll see you tomorrow at 6 AM.
