Like any battle-hardened warrior, Care Tuk wears her scars like a badge of honor. She's found her life turned upside down, her bank account depleted,, infertility issues, adoption, and more. Through her multiple battles with cancer, a near-death car crash at the hands of a drunk driver, a brain bleed that left her speechless and nearly immobile, she kept going. Even after the unexpected death of her daughter and unborn granddaughter, she kept going forward. Ravaged by the painful side effects of DES (Diethylstilbestrol) – an experimental drug intended to save her life.
