When the moon moves entirely between the Earth and the sun, it blocks all light except an outer circle of intense light. This ring is known as a corona. God the Father exists in a light no man can approach. (1 Timothy 6:16) Jesus is the expressed image of the Father (Hebrews 1:3). He reflects the Father's glory but in light that we can see.
