Cameron & Jonathan have a couple beers with a brewery near Jonathan's hometown of La Crosse, WI. To keep him out of local trouble, I want to clarify that he makes it very clear he isn't FROM La Crosse, but near it! We do get a geography lesson from Jonathan on what exactly the Driftless Region of Western Wisconsin actually is.

Phil from 608 Brewing Company talks about his former home brewing days and the major transition from home brewing to professional brewing. 

Phil admits he's a man of the people, and doesn't always love the beers he brews, but does it for his drinkers! If people will drink it, he'll put aside his own palate preferences and make the best damn beer possible, no matter what! People like candy sours. Phil thinks candy sours are silly. But he may be on to something when he says they're not too bad if you mix bourbon in there.

As an admitted Hop Head, Phil talks about why he really got into home brewing - to make the beers he couldn't actually find locally over a decade ago. He also loves constantly making new beers and getting creative with the ingredients he has in stock.

We also learn about his strategy of collaboration beers with bleeding edge breweries in order to, himself, be a bleeding edge brewer.
