THE FUNDAMENTALS…the basic training that is necessary for success in any field or endeavor.

Spiritually, It’s the foundational anchor in the storms, darkness and false directions of life that try to knock you off course.

Peter just laid out the “basic training” to grow in the faith and now he emphasizes the fact that we need to be continually reminded of these things!

Why?…because they will keep us ANCHORED in our faith and growth in the midst of uncertainty and especially in the face of false teaching that pulls us away from truth and makes us doubt the word of God.

If you want to grow, if you want stability in life’s storms, if you want to grow in faith and not doubt, if you want to be successful, you have to remember the fundamentals!…Stay ANCHORED in the BASIC TRAINING!
