Welcome back Warriors! Today is day 6 of my drive to raise awareness around suicide prevention. We have covered a huge range of topics and has some seriously challenging conversations. This podcast wants to progress the conversation around mental health!
Today I welcome the wonderful Jon Simons to the show. Jon is a Team Leader & Mental Health Advocate, Suicidal ideation speaker and MHFA Plenary.
Today we delve into exactly what mental health first aid is, why it is critical people start training in it, and why it is critical that we start educating ourselves into what mental health illness actually is. It is time to empower not limit, progress forward not stay still. We talk openly about our own experiences with mental health illness and suicide ideation, and we speak to you so that you know that you are not alone brother.
