As we near the end of our series on Paul's letter to the Colossians, David spends time this Sunday to unpack Paul's thoughts on prayer.

Prayer is the hallmark of a believer. It's simple; communication with God. Prayer is the base language of a relationship with God -- one that your Father in heaven so desperately wants with you!

Our understanding of submission in our world is different than in the kingdom of God. In our world, submission means defeat, giving up, losing, etc. But in the kingdom of God, submission to Jesus, to our spouses, church leaders, and employers, actually brings victory!

In Him, Through Him and By Him. As we continue to dive deeper into this series, it is important to remember that Jesus wants us to put things on and not just leave things behind.

This Sunday Bryan, one of our elders, continued our series on Colossians in chapter two. He broke down the three main movements in the passage explaining how and why we should "walk the talk, see to it" and how we've gone from "death to life" in Christ!

This Sunday David continued our Colossians series explaining the goal Paul's writing, namely maturity.

It's Paul's desire that the Colossian church would come to maturity in Christ -- that they would grow in their love, grace, and devotion to Jesus.

This Sunday Ashlye Myers, one of our elders, preached about everyday intimacy with Jesus.

She talked about how we must never take for granted the opportunity we have to encounter God every day -- an opportunity that cost Jesus his life! When we walk with God through life we have true peace, joy, love, and fulfillment -- all things that come only through Jesus.

This Sunday Stacy preached out of the first chapter in Paul's letter Colossians. He showed us how Paul writes to the church to address two main issues and does so by getting this understand the supremacy of Jesus.
