Faith is much more than simply believing. The Bible teaches in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, EVIDENCE of things not seen. One's faith is primarily defined by the action they take to receive that which they believe is possible, and this is a common theme in every faith example in the Bible. Unfortunately, not many know this and so ignore the action dimension of faith. James 2:17 puts it nicely, that faith without works is dead.
