Following the water main break earlier this month at Hertel Avenue and Military Road in the Black Rock-Riverside community, which flooded a local practice space, musician Jen Karlis and her band Not Normal are stepping up to help out fellow artists who were affected. The band has put together a charity show benefitting Music is Art and the Black Rock-Riverside alliance, set for Feb. 28 at Hot Mama’s Canteen. The show will feature 10 bands and a basket raffle. Buffalo Jukebox host Adam Duke spoke with Karlis about the show, Not Normal’s latest release, and her work on Music is Art’s "Good Neighbors" projects.
