Following the water main break earlier this month at Hertel Avenue and Military Road in the Black Rock-Riverside community, which flooded a local practice space, musician Jen Karlis and her band Not Normal are stepping up to help out fellow artists who were affected. The band has put together a charity show benefitting Music is Art and the Black Rock-Riverside alliance, set for Feb. 28 at Hot Mama’s Canteen. The show will feature 10 bands and a basket raffle. Producer, engineer, and recording artist Anthony Casuccio, who has worked on multiple Grammy-nominated projects, is the head of the Villa Maria College music program, and the president of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, released a new single, "Can You See Me?" on Jan. 30.
