62 | Practical Tips for Navigating Puberty With Our Special Needs Daughters
That's precisely the scenario Heather Mannings faced with her daughter Mackenzie, who has autism. On this episode, Heather joins me on the podcast to share her journey from panic to proactive preparation. Together, we offer heartfelt support and practical advice for moms walking this path, focusing on how to prepare your daughter for the emotional and physical changes of puberty.
Heather is a proud alum of Dallas Baptist University where she earned a bachelor’s degree. She also obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Woman’s University.
Heather enjoys live music and listening to audio books. More times than not, you will find Heather providing personal chauffer services to her 16 year-old daughter, enjoying dinner with friends, or spending a leisure moment with Jon, her husband of 24 years at their home in Aubrey, TX.
