God has worked in unmistakable ways to offer salvation for the Gentiles; therefore, the Church must follow suit. The Church doesn’t write the script; they follow the script. They Church doesn’t draw up the play; they run the play. When the church decides to become the scriptwriter rather than the script-follower, bad things happen.
