63. How to slide into DMs (without being a creep!)
PRAISE THAN PROMPT! (So teacher of me to say this, but seriously).
1. Hey (name) please refer to their name, nothing is worse than a generic message - ew!
2. Find something that you genuinely liked on their feed, a post, caption, story? And compliment them. “Hey (name), that post about XX caught my attention because… (fill in the blanks)
3. Do this with no hidden agenda attached. Be genuine. Speak genuine. And watch your community grow organically.
Full transparency: my engagement from the front end is pretty pathetic, but I much prefer solid banter via my stories and/or DMs - this is where the magic happens, at least for me.
