Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 4. I will then key in on verse 7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Friends, as we will find out in our lesson today, the Israelites were not using wisdom. In the Book of Job, it defines wisdom as having a fear of the Lord. The Israelites certainly did not fear the Lord at this time. On today's podcast we will be beginning the 5th chapter of Hosea. By the end of the lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Israel is defiled.

2. They do not know the Lord.

3. He has withdrawn Himself from them.

Call to action - How concerned are you with reading the Word of God? Do you currently have a Bible reading plan? Do you read every day? Every other day? for 15 minutes? 30 minutes? If you answer - no, I don't really have a plan, I suggest that you pray to God and ask Him to lead you and guide you into the plan He wants you to have regarding the reading of His Word.
