The story I tell from my life today, is glimpse of a 25 year journey with my friend.   How God, Himself became our third and brought strength and surety for us.

We have shared the work and at times even shared the wealth.  We certainly have been there for the other when we have needed picked up.  

We have helped each other time after time, and in almost every avenue of life.  We have said that we have to stay friends...as we know too much!  Yes, we have protected one another!  

With a friend like this, and God as the third...we can face the worst!

It wasn't a good week to have a good week!  

Hey people, does this ever happen to you?  Something comes across the path you call life and knocks the faith right out of you?   This was a minor thing, but I still needed to get my thoughts and feelings back into the right realm!  This is warfare... choosing to submit my obedience to His way and not my own.  I believe that this is the daily battle that we need to recognize and win for Him and in doing so we show others that we don't need to live and act like the world.  !  ( 2 Corinthians 10:5 and Jude 3)

In this episode I share my Wind Word about the measuring stick I tend to use on myself and others.

The words, "measuring stick" had been coming out of mouth often in the past weeks and I knew that God had his finger on something, but I didn't really want to know...just yet. I was becoming very aware of using myself as a measuring stick with others, and even myself! Finally, I gave into the poking and acknowledged that He wants my attention.

"Okay God, what is it?" These words blew my way,

 "You shouldn't be measuring at all. Not anyone, not even yourself. I alone have the measuring stick and it is only seen through sin or blood. If you are in sin, there is no blood. There is no in-between. There is no measure of sin. There is no measure of blood. It is black and white to Me.

I love people and My heart's cry is for them to be washed in the blood and be holy and I have said, be holy. Love is a choice, love is found in the blood, love covers a multitude of sins. Do not measure. Just love. Lay down your life for love, always."

The reading in this episode is ;

 "Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love don't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, doesn't have a swelled head, doesn't force itself on others. It isn't always, "me first". Doesn't fly off the handle, doesn't keep score of the sins of others. Doesn't revel when others grovel. Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, puts up with anything. Trusts God always. Always looks for the best. Never looks back, but keeps going to the end." 1 Cor 13: 1-7 MSG

 OUR WAKE UP:   Man, it's tough to love like these words, and I don't think it is humanly possible to love like this, BUT isn't that the point? I need God's love. I need to believe that He loves me like this. Then I can love myself like this. Then I can love people like this.

In this episode I compare faith to hope.  Is there a difference?  I believe in sharing my vision of a pregnancy test, and the words that blew my way...you just might have a different perspective.

Can the Word of God be compared to this test?  As I tell the raw story of one of my, not so finer moments of being real with God, I declare His faithfulness, His mercy and His grace.  This experience was yet, another addition to the TRUST that God was building within me, and I pray my story adds to yours.

Some of Hebrews 11, the FAITH chapter, is shared today, trusting it awakens us to believe for even more!
