Mark Nowers is our guest on the podcast this week to talk about the upcoming GWCT Big Farmland Bird Count and his day job with Operation Turtle Dove.
Mark's interest in the natural world and particularly birds started at a young age and the knowledge and enthusiasm that he shares with others is just fantastic. In the show, they talk about why Turtle Doves have their own special project, what the Big Farmland Bird Count is and how you can get involved as well as some of the experiences that Richard and Callum have had whilst out with Mark.
CountrySlide is a podcast that looks at farming, conservation and life in the British countryside.
