Andy is not only from a long line of thatchers, but he is also a lecturer and currently studying to become a doctor of reeds (AKA Reedbed management)! The three discuss everything from reedbed conservation, the importance of the reedbed habitat to Bittern and other wildlife, lack of management in the UK, exotic reed, Andy's less good looking brother Chris, the endangered craft and hard job of reed cutting and so much more.
