In order to fulfill his own philanthropic mission, Chase is the President of The H. Chase Lenfest Foundation, Inc. The Foundation began operations in 2002 and provides financial support for programs intended to make a positive impact on the lives of children primarily in the Philadelphia area. In 2008, Lenfest built the Lenfest Center as a safe and positive place for the youth and families of the Hunting Park and East Tioga sections of Philadelphia. 

Chase is also the President of the Board of Directors of North10 Philadelphia. This organization was started to build upon the outreach the Lenfest Center started in Hunting Park and East Tioga. It works to improve the life outcomes for the community members.
