The song "Dreaming alone" tells the story of a person who doesn't want to forget his ex-lover even though he already has a new lover. He felt he could no longer feel love like love when he was with his ex-lover. The image of her former lover's figure kept looming in her mind and dreams all the time. He also thinks that his ex-girlfriend also does the same to always think about him. He hopes what he thinks about his ex-girlfriend is the truth so he doesn't just dream.

✔My experience:

My experience after practicing the new vocabulary that I got from listening to the two songs I definitely enjoyed it. The new vocabulary that I got was very familiar and related to daily activities making it easier for me to practice it in everyday life. The more vocabulary I get can help me in making sentences that are more varied and effective. I think learning vocabulary through songs is very interesting and easier to understand. This makes me even more excited to improve my ability to speak English.

✔The first news

“ Singapore reports 1,939 COVID-19 cases, highest since beginning of pandemic”

Singapore's Ministry of Health reported 1,939 new Covid-19 cases on sunday, the highest since the beginning of the pandemic. A recent rise in cases occurred after the relaxation of some Covid-19 measures. Previously on Friday there was also an increase. Singaporean government said it will tighten again COVID-19 curbs to limit social gatherings of two people and work from home a default in a bid to contain a spike in infections and reduce pressure on the healthcare system. Even though more than 80 percent of its population has been vaccinated against COVID-19 the city-state has been seeing more than 1000 daily cases this week. Singapore ministers told a media briefing on Friday that the jump in COVID-19 cases in the island of 5.7 million people had put "tremendous" pressure on its healthcare system.

“Protecting the country through restoration: Jokowi plants mangroves with local community”

President Jokowi planted mangroves with members of the local community at Raja Kecik Beach, Muntai Barat village, Bengkalis regency, Riau, on September 28, accompanied by the environment and forestry minister and the head BRGM Hartono. Jokowi said the government would rehabilitate mangrove forests and land throughout the country covering an area of 34,000 hectares by the end of 2021. The mangrove rehabilitation carried out by the BRGM and the Environment and Forestry Ministry through the BPDASHL, with the National Economic Recovery (PEN). As Indonesia has the largest mangrove and tropical peatland ecosystem in the world, respectively around 3.36 million ha and 14.9 million ha, the government’s mangrove and peatland restoration project is one of the efforts to protect the country from climate change.

Rara: “ waalaikumsalam, Hi Anin, good evening too.”

Anin : “ How are you, I heard from a lot of news on television that the cases of covid 19 in Central Java are very high, right?”

Rara : “ yes nin, yesterday before the vaccine and PPKM Covid-19 cases were very high, but for now it has started to decrease.”

Anin : “ That's good ra, I think PPKM and vaccination are the best ways the government can do to suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Umm, talking about vaccines, I am quite concerned because many people are still reluctant to vaccinate.”

Rara : “ That's right nin, there are still many people who are reluctant to participate in vaccinations, especially people who are exposed to hoax and negative stigma related to vaccination programs circulating on social media. This further strengthens the attitude of the community not to vaccinate.”

Anin : “Yes ra , besides that, people also think that vaccines do not have a real effect to ensure they are not exposed to Covid-19. But by vaccinating, we already have self-protection against Covid-19 and the possibility of being exposed to the Covid-19 virus is smaller.”

Rara : “ The spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia should have been prevented if the public were willing to cooperate with the government through a vaccination program.”

Anin: “ That's true, as a good society, we must participate in helping the government in suppressing the spread of the covid-19 virus by following the vaccination program and we can also provide education to the public about right information things about vaccination. So that people have the awareness to do with vaccination that can suppress the spread of the covid-19 virus.”

Rara :” I agree with you, I hope that with vaccination this Covid-19 pandemic problem will end quickly”

My Experience:

My experience after practicing speaking English with a partner, I feel very challenged. When practicing with my partner, I have to speak and think at the same time to organize the words into clear sentences so that my partner can understand them. I also have to understand every sentence and word spoken by my partner. From the sentences spoken by my partner, I get a lot of new vocabulary that I can practice in everyday life. In addition, practicing with a partner feels very interesting and fun because we can share and correct each other if there is a wrong way of pronouncing, and arranging sentences. Learning English through talking together with a partner feels easier and more relaxed.

• Story Title : " Hansel and Gretel" •

Summary of the Story :

Hansel and Gretel are two brothers who live in the forest with their father and stepmother. Their stepmother is evil. When their family lacked food, their mother persuaded their father to leave Hansel and Gretel in the forest. The first plan they succeeded in thwarting by dropping pebbles along the road to the road home. But for the second time Hansel and Gretel lost track, the biscuit crumbs they had dropped were eaten by the pigeons. This makes them lost in the forest. When in the forest they meet an evil witch who wants to eat them, because of their intelligence, they can escape and find their way home. Finally they arrived home. Their father was very happy to see his son home. beside their stepmother had died. Finally they can live happily ever after.

CARTOON MOVIE

• Movie Title :" We Bear Bears - Frozen ice"

• Movie synopsis:

Panda is surprised when he opens the fridge to see an ice bear, frozen in a block of ice. Grizz tries to break the ice bear from the ice block, but fails. Panda has an idea that the ice will melt if it is given something hot. Panda and Grizz have done various ways. But it's all in vain, the ice bear is still frozen, the grizz and the panda start to give up. They hugged the ice bear lovingly, unexpectedly the ice blocks broke and the ice bear was really alive.

My experience:

My experience after practicing using vocabulary from children books and cartoon movie I feel that there has been progress in my English. I can understand the sentences between the sentences, the story line and the message of the story. I found a lot of new vocabulary, the vocabulary is easy to reach and very related to everyday life so that I can use it in my daily life. In addition, through these two things, I can practice my skills regarding reading, listening, and speaking. I think learning new vocabulary through watching movies, especially cartoons is a very fun thing and I really enjoy it well.

✔My experience after I practice new vocabulary using a song that I definitely feel happy and enjoy. I got a lot of new knowledge and skills after I listened to the song. From this song, I was able to find a lot of new vocabulary, understand the meaning of words that I didn't know, and train me to compose sentences which I can then apply in my daily life. Besides that, through songs I can also learn reading and listening. It's quite fun and interesting, in one way we can gain a lot of knowledge and skills. With this I am even more excited to learn English. Thank you✨

DATA SECURITY CONCERNS AFTER PRESIDENT JOKOWI VACCINE CERTIFICATE LEAK.

Indonesians expressed concerns over the security of their personal medical data Saturday after the president's coronavirus vaccine certificate was leaked and a large test app also appeared compromised.

Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's vaccine certificate -- which circulated online, showing his censored ID number and vaccination times -- was leaked by users who found his data on official vaccine-monitoring app PeduliLindungi, the government said.

The leak comes only days after researchers of encryption provider vpnMentor revealed the data of 1.3 million users of a government test-and-trace app had been compromised.

Data breaches happen more frequently in Indonesia because of the very high digital penetration in Indonesia which unfortunately is not followed by proper digital awareness from those who are managing the data," said cyber-security analyst Alfons Tanujaya in Jakarta.

People also expressed their anger online, with one user tweeting: "How many more big cases do we need to show that the IT and data management in our country is a failure?" In May, the data of more than 200 million participants of the National Health Care and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) was allegedly leaked by hackers.

This is my first experience of reading news in English in its entirely. When I read the news, I had a hard time because my English was still in the learning stage. Many vocabulary that I do not know the meaning. By reading this English news, I got a new experience, that is, it can train me to read in correct English, stimulate me to find the correct pronunciation. In addition, in reading English news I have to understand sentence by sentence to get clear information, so this trains me in stringing one sentence into another.
