There are things you can do to improve your workout and trust me, this stuff really adds up over time:

 

#1 Sleep: Sleep is a crucial part of repairing and restoring muscle.  Plus, when you get proper sleep, you have more energy to give to your workout and less sugar cravings.  It's a win win.

 

#2 Limit Alcohol: When you drink too much you aren't functioning on all cylinders.

 

#3 Pre and post workout food quality: You need to fuel that machine!

 

# 4 Water Water Water: Hydration is everything.

 

#5 Liquid Motivation: Try added in coffee or green tea pre-workout

 

#6 Consistency: Don't go too many days not working out.  It's more difficult to get back in the swing of things when you do.

 

#7 Death Metal and/or Gangster Rap: Need I say more?
