I often talk about this concept of the NEW you with my clients--the idea that in order to reach your goals, you must create an entirely new identity for yourself. And sometimes we think that we are leaving other people behind when we make a healthy change in our lives--And, that they won't want to hang out with us anymore. Whether it's family, a spouse, or a friend, we think that somehow this new version of me is going to be so different that I won't be able to relate to them anymore.
