We serve a God who understands our capricious nature, and He exposes our flawed carnal perceptions, hypocrisy, and biases. God's elect are so rebellious that speaking through His prophet, the Lord declared: "The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider" (Isa. 1:3). Christ's church is just as wayward.

In 2024, God's people shun God's anointed servants, dismissing them as being irrelevant, just as Israel did to the prophets. Most people want their ears tickled with pleasant messages.
