 After an anonymous phonecall, her children were taken by the state agency meant to protect them. Years later, Yaneth discovered that four of her children had been illegally adopted abroad, their names and identities changed without her consent.

The nightmare deepened when she learned that one of her sons had been murdered by his adoptive parents in Jordan. Her remaining children, she says, are now trapped in a foreign country, caught in a legal limbo far from home.
