In this episode Nita discusses why we are conditioned to accepting red flags from people. Why we put ourselves in dangerous situations with dominant, abusive, narcissistic personalities over and over and over again and feel very confused when they hurt us.
We should be confused because what people are doing to us is evil and awful! However, at some point if we want the behavior to stop we have to look at what we are normalizing and why we are normalizing red flags and treating them as though they're perfectly safe.
Listen to this engaging coaching conversation and see where you recognize self-behaviors that you might want to discuss with a therapist, coach or in your recovery group.
You have the right to heal from abuse, you are worthy of healing from the abuse and learning new healthy normals.

Learn to recognize Red Flags and become strong enough to let them go💜
The way that people treat us tells us exactly how they feel about us. Our trauma excuses their bad behavior and keeps us tied to chasing people to be who we want and need them to be instead of building our own self-value so that we are able to let go of people who mistreat us.
When we recognize red flags in somebody else and we adjust our life accordingly to put them on the outside of our life, we are flooding our internal subconscious, self-valuing system with love, peace, acceptance, we are in essence giving ourselves the protecting, nurturing, care that we needed as a child.
