Last Year in East Rutherford, Officer Brad Steve, the cop with two first names, responded to a 911 call-- but the problem was unknown. When he got to Garfield street, he found 52-year-old Raymond Noel entering a house and refusing commands to cooperate. Steve went inside to apprehend him when shots rang out at point blank range. Officer Steve's life was saved by his ballistic best but Noel took a round to the torso raw. Noel has been charged with attempted aggravated murder and attempted aggravated assault on a police officer. Before you call for gun control, Noel was also charged with criminal in possession of a weapon. Noel got 35 years and Steve gets to live to fight another day.
