Last week in Charlotte County Florida, dispatch received a call about a disturbance just outside of Punta Gorda. Deputies arrived and made contact with owner of the property, Elroy Clark. Clark said one of his tenants was acting erratically. During the investigation, deputies were told that Clark may have had a warrant and asked dispatch to confirm it, and it was. More deputies were called to assist. They attempted to detain Clark, but he resisted. He became agitated and non compliant to verbal commands. Tasers, batons and OC were deployed to little effect. Deputies attempted to tackle, subdue and restrain Clark unsuccessfully. Less lethal munitions-- bean bag rounds-- were deployed, and finally Clark charged a deputy, who used his service weapon. Clark was struck, and aid was rendered by deputies until EMS arrived, however Clark was died at the scene. Former police officer Eric Tansey will take you through this use of force, using his experience with excited delirium and suspects resisting arrest to inform you the police officer's opinion on these events.

In Indianapolis, 39-year-old QB Joe Flacco is getting the start this weekend because 22-year-old Anthony Richardson has said that he was 'tired'. Last year Flacco balled-out to save Cleveland some embarrassment-- taking them to a playoff game. Now he's back into save Indy. Even older is QB Aaron Rodger-- losing to division opponents and league bottom-feeding New England Patriots in a must-win situation has sent the Jets' season crashed at last-- securing a playoff berth almost impossible. But how is Rodgers handling it-- with the grace and poise we've come to expect? Yes that last part was a joke.

Who will win the November 5 election-- a better question will be, when will we know? Long gone are the day of counting up ballots in a single night, long gone are the days of concession calls from the loser around 12 or 1am. No matter what happens, the battle is about to begin. But will it be in court? Or will the result be so disastrously suspicious that protests begin around the country? Institutional faith as at an all-time low and millions of Americans have been conditioned by the media and politicians to hate each other-- will results from Wednesday morning just be a match in a pool of gasoline? Tansey will show you the polls, speculate on their accuracy and take the country's temperature before what could be the most contentious election in our lifetimes.

Did Sean ’Diddy’ Combs poison actor Jamie Foxx? Details come out in the ’Freak Out’ sex assault case against building against the rapper. The two have fallen out, but some are saying that Foxx even called the FBI about his claims. Jamie Foxx was hospitalized in April 2023 while filming the Netflix movie Back in Action in Atlanta-- something that knocked him out of action for 20 days and caused significant impairment of his memory. Was there something Combs wanted him to forget? Beyoncé Knowles showed up at a Kamala event-- and then did not even sing a song while she was there. Guess it wasn't in the budget, which was $10 million dollars. Hate to see what Swift would have asked for to whistle a few notes. Eric also recaps his time in Orlando.

As the trade deadline looms, catastrophe strikes teams across the league. Some are in a rare championship window and need to go all in on blockbuster trades to push them to the end of the season. Will they take a gamble? Or will they go all-in like Jerry Jones, and do nothing? Speaking of Jerry, the GM admitted in a roundabout way that Derrick Henry would have wasted his career with the Cowboys. Andy Dalton was in a car accident-- and speaking of absolute wrecks, despite the Jets losing even after the Devante trade, Aaron Rodgers still wants to believe this season.

Candace Owens says she has proof that Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris has lied about her heritage for political gain-- her mother may be Irish and the pictures of her mother have been faked for a her book and political campaign. But if true, does the revelation come in time? Will it even sway voters from her? Is anyone still undecided at this point? Meanwhile Donald Trump shows he has what it takes to make it at Mickey D's-- so much for talk of middle class family, the billionaire and former President is willing to walk a day in the middle class life, while Democrats mock him for it. China is up to stuff, Elon Musk is giving money to voters, and the Daniel Penny trial begins as Eric returns to bring you up to speed.

The last viable year of Aaron Rodgers career looks like it will go to almost as much waste as last year: head coach Robert Saleh has been fired. No NFL team has ever won the Super Bowl after firing its head coach midseason. The locker room turmoil and on field prospects for the season will also be a disaster for attracting Devante Adams, who's parting with the Raiders seems imminent. But is Rodgers to Blame? Drake Maye will takeover in what Pats fans hope will be the dawn of a new and long-lasting era of success in Foxboro, The Niners are down in accordance with God's will and ESPN is about to get worse with the on-boarding of Cam Newton as a First Take regular.
