Unfortunately, just as in modern times when the contribution of Black women to the big picture is diminished & denied, the Bible provides an ages old example of the same thing occuring in the Scriptures. Now is that the typical human hatred or God being biased?? 🤔

Though we were previously given the commandments including not killing, throughout the Old Testament blood lust is exhibited and sanctioned by religion. Plain contradiction hard to ignore.

Many are called but few are chosen when it comes to making into Heaven.

We are given an example of the paths souls can take, by Jesus, in the Gospels. One person who took an unusual, according to Scripture, path is Elijah of the Old Testament who according to Jesus reincarnated as John the Baptist in the New Testament. This is our introduction to Elijah before he is carried away in what we would call a UFO.

Rather than face civil war, the divided kingdom has more golden calves set up as their gods who delivered them from enslavement in Egypt.

The realization that there IS a God can come from many places, religions, and experiences; with some of them leading to faithfulness.

The unique role Elijah plays spans from the Old Testament into the New.

The religious idolatry is hard to stop.
