Jannelle So is a Filipino-American media pioneer, making a name for herself as the creator, and original host and producer of America’s first and only daily show for and about the Filipinos, “Kababayan TODAY” on KSCI-TV LA18. The show that ran for 9 years under Jannelle's leadership, is also the longest-running Filipino daily talk show outside of the Philippines.  She also produces and hosts her own magazine show called "SO Jannelle" where she addresses issues, feature events and highlights a variety of aspects of the Filipino lifestyle in North America, from fashion to politics to sports to community affairs.  In addition to TV, Jannelle also maintained a weekly lifestyle column and a separate weekly sports column in The Philippine Star, a national paper in the Philippines. Currently, Jannelle also writes a weekly column in Balita, one of the leading Filipino American newspapers.

Jannelle used to compare herself to others and based her self worth on her career accomplishments.  She shares what made her feel whole and complete on the inside and realized that she was more than enough.
