Brother Singh, seated at his little desk on the platform, a posture Jesus himself used to teach, delivered an essential lesson on worship. Jesus told the Samarian women, "God is a Spirit, and they who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth" (John 4:24).

Worship is intended to please our heavenly Father, not us! Psalm 22:3 states that God inhabits the praises of His people. "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." (Romans 8:7)
