We kick things off by discussing David’s recent trip and the revelations he’s had regarding how he is weird about them and doesn’t enjoy anything good in this world. After that, we talk about follow-up and discuss the Mandalorian a tiny bit. Jim hasn’t seen it yet, though.

For our main topic, which was all Jim’s fault, we discuss Bible translations. We each give our stories with them, then Jim and David fight about some of the presuppositions behind the Critical Text and Texts Receptus movements. If you’re looking for an educated discussion, look elsewhere. No, please, look elsewhere. It’s an interesting topic and there are lots of smart people talking about it.
