69. The Unfolding Tragedy of Nagorno-Karabakh: The Cleansing of Armenian Christians from more of their Ancient Homeland, with Joel Veldkamp

Armenian Christians are no strangers to tragedy. In the early Twentieth Century, the Armenian Genocide claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Armenian Christians at the hands of the Ottoman Turks. Today, in September 2023, Armenian Christians are again being targeted and cleansed from their ancient homeland.

Nagorno-Karabakh has been the home of Armenian Christians for over 1,700 years. But they are being systematically cleansed from these lands by Azerbaijan, who claim the region as their own. A grinding siege strangled Armenians there of food, water and electricity. Azerbaijan followed up by unleashing a lightning military assault. Today, in September 2023, forced deportations

are underway. For the region of Nagorno-Karabakh, the ethnic and religious cleansing of Armenian Christians is in full force.
