God has incredibly blessed our assembly and Brother Singh's online followers over these past five days, starting with the lesson "The Shepherd—Sheep Relationship" (11-13-24). On Wednesday, we saw how the lush meadows of Psalm 23 represent God's blessings that fatten His sheep in pastoral peace and safety. Nevertheless, the sheep of God's pasture are not pets raised for pleasure. Spiritually, the Good Shepherd fattens the sheep for the kill. The kill is the day that each elect child of God can say, as Jesus did, "Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup {of suffering} from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done" (Luke 22:42).
