This week, we sat down with Seth Cheeks, Sr. Visual Designer at Google, about how he creates AR Branded Experiences and his journey of becoming an Senior-level designer at Google. As a High School dropout, skater, and 2-year Technical School graduate, Seth is not the archetype for a designer at Google. The key to his success was putting in the time to learn technical design skills and facing his anxiety head on through TM meditative practices. Seth also provides us with valuable insight into what his day-to-day is like at Google and how designers should negotiate compensation with large tech companies. Tune in, we guarantee you will be inspired by Seth!
