We start off with his Plainfield East days where he turned around the program there and ended up going 7-2 while they won their first playoff game in school history. We transitioned into him being undersized and always counted out leading him to Northern Michigan where he left his legacy there. Mayon broke school record after school record leading to him being one of the great players in school history, where we ask him about that experience. Then we finished up with his journey to the Germany Football League and what ultimately led him there. On this episode, we welcome on Michigan State QB, Payton Thorne. We talk about his journey from growing up in a football family to Michigan State football in 2021. Both his Grandpa and Dad coached/coaches football at North Central College, Payton describes what comes with that and how he was always around football growing up. After high school we go through his recruiting process that led him to East Lansing. We then move into his redshirt year where Payton described it as a learning experience.
