‘dil’ in hindi (the national language of india means heart)

the capital of india is new delhi, also known as ‘nayi dilli’, by the localites

i have never thought of as to why it is know to be called that, but i am guessing it must have something to do with the heart

probably the open-heartedness with which they lovingly abuse each other

when shifted from pune to delhi, i had a pure dilli-ite as my benchmate

he happened to have a girl friend too

this is my experience with him
