Dr Strubler is a professor of human resource development at Oakland University, he worked as a mountaineering instructor and a social worker, developing wilderness experience programs for emotionally challenged youth. He has spent over a year of his life living outside. He is a writer and contributor for psychology today, Harvard business review, and writes on a whole host of topics including, interdependence, hyper-individualism, narcissism, and apprenticeships. He is winner of many awards including most recently in 2020 the Martin Luther king junior “dreamer award”. Beyond all of his accomplishments, he has been a mentor to me and a great friend.
